What started out as a hobby by creating my own home page got a bit more serious as I was asked to create other web pages. By the way this is the 3rd version of my home page. Web page development is a very rewarding activity as it can involve both the right and left brain. As a former computer programmer my left brain (logical side) is probably more developed than my right (artistic) side. Some might say that I'm missing out on the artistic side as others in my family seem to have inherited much more of this characteristic than I can lay claim to. In any event creating web pages can be very artistic but you also need to play with the html and/or Java code to make things work out just right.
